What Orca AI-SPM does

Orca AI-SPM is the AI security posture part of the Orca Cloud Security Platform. The vendor page says it discovers AI models, datasets, training pipelines and inference endpoints across AWS, Azure and GCP with no agents, and builds an AI bill of materials. It checks that AI models are configured securely, covering network security, data protection, access controls and IAM, and combines data security posture management with AI discovery to show which sensitive datasets AI systems can reach. A separate runtime sensor adds visibility into LLM and MCP activity. The page shows no prices, only demo calls to action, so ask Orca about packaging.

Where Orca AI-SPM fits in our AI security layers

Our analysis

Our editorial model, not a standard. The primary layer follows the category, except for tools whose main documented job is detection and response; other layers rest on a capability the sources document. How the model works.

Orca AI-SPM FAQ

Does Orca AI-SPM need agents?

The page says discovery works with no agents and no configuration. Runtime monitoring of LLM and MCP activity uses the separate Orca Sensor.

Which clouds does Orca AI-SPM cover?

The page names AWS, Azure and GCP for discovery of AI models, datasets, training pipelines and inference endpoints.

Is Orca AI-SPM open source?

No. It is part of a commercial platform sold through demo requests, and we found no public source repository for it.

Does Orca AI-SPM find sensitive data?

Yes, as a secondary capability. The page says Orca connects data security posture management (DSPM) with AI asset discovery to show which sensitive datasets AI systems can access. That is posture detection, so we list Orca AI-SPM under discovery and posture, not under the data protection layer, which covers tools that redact, tokenize or block data.

Key facts you can cite

We have no commercial relationship with Orca Security.
