Best for

Teams that already want a vault to hold regulated data and need tokenized or de-identified values to feed LLMs and RAG

Consider instead if

  • You only need PII detection and masking in your own code, with no separate vault service. See Presidio.

What Skyflow does

Skyflow is a commercial data privacy vault. Sensitive values are stored in a vault that is segregated from other infrastructure and reached only through privileged access, and applications work with tokens instead. For AI use, the docs say it prevents sensitive data from leaking into models, prompts and RAG systems, and describe a Detect API that finds PII in text, audio, images and files and redacts or tokenizes it. Re-identification is controlled by roles, so the original value can be restored only for permitted users. It is API-first and closed source. The pricing page shows no prices, only a demo request, so cost has to be confirmed with the vendor.
